Feeling restricted by the limits of social media, Noha took it in her own hands to create the ‘Styling Diva’ blog about two years ago, where she can fully express her thoughts and give detailed advice to women on how best to style themselves. Starting off from styling friends whilst out shopping, to reaching thousands of people across the globe, Noha aspires to share her love for fashion with the whole world.
She doesn't just share her passion, but she also teaches valuable lessons through her workshops that she hosts for young teenagers and children. Fashion, to her, is not just how you dress, but being able to feel beautiful and confident within yourself.
Who are your fashion inspirations?
Definitely Queen Rania, her dress sense is so modest and elegant, I definitely look up to her for modest fashion. Also, Jennifer Lopez for her wild fashion taste
What is your favourite trend of the moment?
There are a lot! But one of my favourite trends at the moments has to be ruffles. I really love ruffles. I also love summer dresses which are off the shoulder as they are perfect for the summer time and look beautiful.
What are your top tips for fashion in Ramadan?
During Ramadan, fashion is much more modest. A lot of people don't like to go out and buy new clothing just for this month, but what is nice about modest clothing and Ramadan is that you can still wear summer clothing, just style them differently. For example, you can wear maxi dresses with long sleeves, or if you have a short dress you can open it up and wear it over a pair of jeans and top.
What will you be wearing on Eid?
I am planning on wearing a dress designed by one of the Saudi local designers as I like to support local talents. I like wearing bright colours especially during the summer as we like to go out for Eid during the day so I keep my outfit appropriate for summer by making it bright.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
There have been quite a few highlights this year. I became the official stylist of Rotana TV and was hired by Muna Abusulayman as a personal stylist. Also, the chance to be able to work for different International brands has been incredible.
What has been one of the most difficult aspects of your career?
There is a lot of competition in the fashion industry. It can be difficult to stand out from the rest. But I try to make myself different as I am one of the only ones that does personal shopping as well. This can be difficult, but I enjoy what I do and it helps me stand out from the competitors.
What can we expect from you in the future?
I am actually working on a new fashion programme which is set to be Saudi’s first ever fashion television programme. I can’t say much about it but it is in the process of being developed so make sure to keep a look out!
What words of advice would you give to young women who want to get into fashion?
You have to have a passion for what you do. Sometimes I have clients all day but I never get tired, as I love what I do. If you don't enjoy it then it becomes a chore. My words of advice would be to do fashion the right way by getting a degree. I thought I knew about fashion before but I learnt so much more after getting my degree in fashion.
